Good morning families,
Welcome to our third week of online learning! Thank you for your patience as we continue to learn together the best way to keep students connected online. We’re in this together and things are starting to fall into place and routine.
This week, we’ll be having two new changes:
This will be the first week that we will be teaching new concepts in math – for the past two weeks, it has all been review of lessons taught before spring break. Some students may struggle, and that is okay. Please have them reach out for help if they need it. This is new and difficult for all of us, but it will become our normal for the rest of the school year and we must persevere through this difficult time.
Secondly, we will be having our first class Zoom meeting! Many students want to connect with their peers and just say hello, so I’ve planned a Zoom meeting for Tuesday at 11am. I look forward to seeing as many students as possible to connect and say hello. Attendance is not required but is strongly encouraged just to say “hi” to their peers.
Again, thanks for your support and patience as we navigate this new style of “school” together. I know it hasn’t been easy but we’re all in this together.
